Journaling can be a really helpful asset to coping with life’s struggles. However, sometimes, it can be difficult to know where to start. When times are difficult or we feel overwhelmed, our thoughts can get away from us, like a train going faster and faster along tracks to who-knows-where. When that happens, it can be helpful to stop, breathe, and ground ourselves in reality.
Writing our thoughts on paper can have a powerful effect on our sense of peace, trust, and hope. Different types of journaling prompts can be helpful at different points in our experience, so I’ve broken prompts down into categories in order to be most helpful.
